Go From Not Reading to Reading 10-13 Books a Year

Do you hear yourself say things like, "GAH, I have no time to read books!" And your to-read list just keeps getting bigger and bigger."

I always wanted to be able to curl up with a good book with a hot cup of coffee under a cozy blanket on a cold day, and read the day away.

As a parent, we all know how busy we get doing all the things! Snacks, meals, bedtime, homework, chores, activities, etc etc…

There is little to no time to read without some serious, deliberate planning.

What if I was to tell you that if reading is something that you want to do more of, you CAN by implementing this GEM tip that worked wonders for me!

A friend said to me once that he reads ten pages of his book a day he can read 10 - 13 books a year.

When I picked my jaw up off the floor, I thought about things a bit deeper.

While the idea of reading away the afternoon sounds glorious, right now, in reality, it's not possible.

So, rather than doing nothing (not read), I adapted my vision to what can work for my lifestyle and still benefit from the reading that I desire!

So, that is my tip:

Read ten pages of your book a day.

By the end of the year, you will have read 10-13 books.

Generally, that takes about 10-15 (depending on how fast you read, of course) mins a day. Easy. Simple. Do-able, right?

This can be the 10 mins of self-care that you deserve!

Opening your mind and investing what you can in yourself.

Try it, and let me know how it goes for you!

May the bliss be with you.
